SUSTAINABLE CHEMISTRY TO ADDRESS MAJOR SOCIETAL CHALLENGES
TheCARLA (Sustainable Chemistry for Health)Long-Term Thematic Project (PTL) has the following objectives:
- To attract and traina new generation of high-level researchers and faculty members, andto ensure the long-term preservation of the scientific expertiseof the highest caliber demonstrated by the Cluster’s teams;
- Toenhance thesite’sappealby leveraging other competitive, high-visibility funding sources, particularly national ones (CNRS, ANR, etc.) and European ones (MSCA, ERC, etc.);
- To make sustainable developmentthe guiding principle for all supported scientific projects.
- To anchor research at the regional and international levels.
Its goal is to address societal challenges related to human health and the environment and to place sustainable chemistry at the heart of the design of molecules, materials, and devices for healthcare.
