SUSTAINABLE CHEMISTRY ADDRESSING MAJOR SOCIETAL CHALLENGES
TheCARLA (Sustainable Chemistry for Health)Long-Term Thematic Project (PTL) has the following objectives:
- To attract and traina new generation of high-caliber researchers and faculty members, andto ensure thelong-termpreservation of the scientific expertisedemonstrated by the Cluster’s teams;
- Toenhance thesite’sappealby leveraging other competitive funding sources with high visibility, particularly national ones (CNRS, ANR, etc.) and European ones (MSCA, ERC, etc.);
- To make sustainable developmenta central theme in all supported scientific projects.
- To anchor research at the regional and international levels.
Its goal is to address societal challenges related to human health and the environment, and to place sustainable chemistry at the heart of the design of molecules, materials, and medical devices.
